The official MPEG spec matters only when rendering to an MP4 container from DaVinci Resolve. The change between Resolve 17 and 18 is cosmetic. In DaVinci Lite 11, you have to select the “Edit” tab to export XML. However, do know that any color information will not transfer over if doing XML. This image serves not only as a reference image, but also contains all of the attributes of the grade, bringing any nodes that you were working with along with it. Recently, during an edit session, I noticed that my four primary audio channels suddenly appeared blacked / greyed out. Everything is playing but it is difficult to make adjustments if I can not see the tracks ... Been looking at HDR10+ and it seems that the anchor points are always greyed out? Analysed all clips, selected clips etc, always greyed out. Also, noticed there is now a HDR10+ Profile A and Profile B json export. Cannot finf anything regarding this. I would clear the markers and re-run the job in the render queue which reset the IN/OUT markers. After Clearing the IN/OUT markers, make sure to delete any jobs in the render queue and re-add them. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen. I recently purchased DaVinci Resolve Studio 17 after learning true hardware acceleration was locked behind the paywall. The performance is markedly better. Its smooth and and just about useable. DVR seems to export stills as "video levels", not full levels. You can chek it reimporting the still to DVR, then right click on clip attributes on the source image on the media pool, and change data levels to "video", then "full".
