Not using HDT SMP allows all physics to work and High Heels to work correctly.My Skyrim is 1.6.353 and I am using Faster HDT SMP 1.42 so I believe there are no issues with version.5. I think either you or the other person are getting game versions confused. If you're on SE or AE and the armor mod is SE or AE, you'll want to use Faster SMP. The original HDT SMP is entirely obsolete and HDT PE is for Oldrim. The folks you are talking about must be using SE/AE ports of the Team TAL armor.
