For me, it took 5 weeks after the methotrexate for my hcg lvl to be back down to 0. My hcg was around 715 when I was diagnosed as ectopic. Around week 3, my doctor almost suggested a 2nd shot because it was going down real slow.
08/10/2016 at 6:36 am. Hi. I had slight bleed at 4+3 so went to epu for a scan at 5+3. Nothing was found, no gestational sac or anything. They did bloods and had them repeated 48 hours later: 5+3 weeks - hcg 159. 5+5 weeks - hcg 226. They are raising but not doubling like they should.
